Inder Kumar Gujral (4 December 1919 – 30 November 2012) was an Indian politician who served as the 12th Prime Minister of India from April 1997 to March 1998. Gujral was the third PM to be from the Rajya Sabha, the first being Indira Gandhi (January 1966 - March 1977) and the second H. D. Deve Gowda (June 1996 - April 1997) and followed by Manmohan Singh (May 2004 - May 2014).

Former Member of Parliament



Karan Singh (born 9 March 1931) is an Indian politician, philanthropist and poet. He was a member of India's Upper House of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha representing the National Capital Territory of Delhi. He is a senior member of the Indian National Congress Party who served successively as President (Sadr-i-Riyasat) and Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. Singh is the son of the last ruler of the erstwhile princely state of Jammu and Kashmir, Maharaja Hari Singh.

Former Governor of Bihar, West Bengal and Haryana



Akhlaq Ur Rehman Kidwai (1 July 1920 – 24 August 2016) was an Indian chemist and politician. He served as governor of the states of Bihar, West Bengal, and Haryana. He was a member of the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian parliament, from 2000 to 2004. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian award.

Inter alia, he served as Liaison Officer with His Holiness The Dalia Lama at Dharamshala, Consul General in San Francisco, USA, and Head of Mission in various countries including China, former Soviet Union, former Yugoslavia, Argentina, Mexico and Cuba as also High Commissioner in Sri Lanka
